The seeding, groups & draw is done in accordance with FFA procedures.
Registration Meeting (Depending on the VIC state regulations/rules around COVID19 pandemic) All anglers MUST attend the briefing session and collect information sheets, draw and score sheets or all documents will be provided via email (COVID safe plan). Competitors are responsible for their own accommodation, transport and meals. Competitors should be aware that this competition is limited to ONLY 20 anglers, on a first in basis. Once the website receives the maximum allowable numbers the event will be closed, and if only limited entries are received entry closes as of 5pm, 27th November. You will receive an official ticket once you have paid your entry fee. If you are unsuccessful, email the event organiser to be placed on the Reserve List. Practice waters include all waterways EXCLUDING competition waters. Competition waters close from midnight on 27 November 2020. All anglers to return the score sheets including the sheets for scoring a blank. This is essential as the cards will be used as a monitoring process that competitors are safely off the river. Note. If your card is not returned and following that the SES and other organisations are called in for a rescue and it is found that you were negligent in returning your card, e.g. just forgot. You may be held liable for their costs.

The Competition Organisers reserve the right to allocate alternative competition sectors having regard to safety and other considerations as circumstances dictate at the time. This will be communicated at the Competitor Briefing or by email beforehand if appropriate and feasible.
All competitors must take responsibility for their own actions. Neither Fly Fish Australia Incorporated nor individual FFA CHAPTERS accepts any responsibility for any injury or loss incurred by any competitor, official or any participant or observer during the running of this competition or other events. All competitors are required to hold a valid state fishing licence. All State based competitions in this current environment must abide by the COVID based competition policy with respect to any competitions held in 2020. The Board of Fly Fish Australia is currently unable to determine the practicalities and fairness of allowing ranking points to accrue in 2020 given the impact of COVID -19 on competitions. Competitors need to note that competition ranking points may not be allowed in part or for the whole of the 2020 – 2021 competition year. In the event that one or more States are prejudiced , and unable to hold competitions, a determination will need to be made to ensure a fair outcome. This may include cancelling of Ranking Points.
