At the 2024 AGM, FFA Competition rules, Article 31: Prohibition was amended as follows;

31.1a

The fishing of competition sectors by competitors or their agents for both lakes (bank and boat) and rivers during a period of 12 days for Chapter competitions and 21 days for National Championships prior to the official start of the event.

At the AGM this was agreed to take effect immediately.
